Year 12 and 13 Biology and Chemistry students had the opportunity to visit the Institute of Histology and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. They watched the process of preparing samples for microscopic investigation.
Our thanks go to Dr Tamara Kravić Stevović, who demonstrated to our students how to use the electron microscope.
Such visits, in addition to improving knowledge and gaining new experience, help students consider their choices for further education.
Through practical work experience, the students can get an impression of whether they like a particular subject, and whether they want to pursue that profession in the future.
